Children Are Mirrors of Us

In Kabbalah, we learn that others are a reflection of us, and through this, we are shown by the Creator the areas in our lives that need correction. Concerning the reflection a parent sees of themselves in their children: We can see how they look like us, and certain aspects of character, we say, “they’re just like (us)”.  When they behave badly, one parent will say they’re acting just like “YOU”; the other parent.  But, that’s where we stop in reflecting on how they are like us.  We don’t seek out any further, deeper meaning to their behavior. (I say behavior, because that’s the area of our children that we have the hardest times dealing with and, all too often, want to give up, run away, etc. when things get overwhelming. I feel I can write this blog, because I have firsthand experience in having been shown by the Creator how my children (as well as others) are reflecting what I need to deal with personally, and it has brought me to cry out to Him in repentance, seeking help

Hurricanes & Will To Receive

From the Wisdom of Kabbalah, we learn that our ego is the "will to receive", and we need to correct ourselves to "bestowing/giving to others", just as the Creator bestows upon all His creation. When I looked at the below pictures, the thought that immediately came to mind was that it reminded me of a hurricane. When I really think about this and relate what hurricanes can be telling us, if we apply what is said in the above - we still have a long way to go to correct our ego.  We, as human beings, are at the height of our ego, and we are experiencing a lot more hurricanes.   In reality, hurricanes are not evil, but are showing us that we are all about ourselves and receiving for ourselves, and we need to correct that, into giving unto others, loving one another, etc.   Need proof that this is the message?  What happens when there is devastation?  People come together to help one another!  Hurricanes swirl around drawing destruction to all those in

Pharaoh & Egypt

From the Wisdom of Kabbalah, we learn that Pharaoh is our ego, our evil inclination , and Egypt is a mindset of unfounded hatred .  Moses is our desire to unite above hatred. If we apply this to our world today we can see, unmistakably, that mankind is at the height of their ego; being all about "I/me".  We have unfounded hatred toward one another.  If someone doesn't agree with our opinion, the way we think or do things, we lash out with hateful words and even hateful actions toward them.  It's so obvious that our "Pharaoh" is hard hearted, at the height of "power" and isn't currently letting us be delivered out of our "Egypt" yet. So, how do we overcome and be delivered from this bondage?  What do the Scriptures say?  The people cried out to God, and He heard their cry.  All that we are going through is to draw us to Him; to cry out to Him for deliverance and come to know Him and have a relationship with Him. After they cried
